The idea for Happy 400th Birthday NYC 2024 was born in 1978, when a group of local history enthusiasts came together to discuss the need for a dedicated organization to preserve and share the history of our community. Thanks to their vision and hard work, Happy 400th Birthday NYC 2024 was officially founded in 1980.
