Happy 400th Birthday NYC 2024–2050 (not affiliated with the official NYC Founded BY NYC Project) is a multi-year initiative dedicated to continuously celebrating New York City's rich history, diverse people, and vibrant boroughs. From the earliest Indigenous tribes to European settlers and today's dynamic global population, NYC's story is one of enduring spirit.

Our goal is to galvanize the city with annual, year-long celebrations that honor New York City's founding, multicultural heritage, and future growth. This project seeks to create a lasting, twenty-first-century landmark for uncontroversial, citywide festivities, recognizing diverse communities, historic boroughs, and visionary leaders.

• Celebrating All People: We spotlight the stories, achievements, and contributions of every New Yorker, emphasizing unity, resilience, and opportunity.
